My First Day
I think about my favourite hero, Slark and all the awesome jukes I pulled off. Then I realize that the only one clapping at the moment is pathetic old me.
The moment of self-realisation almost me look at shame at myself. But, then I found remarkable solace in the fact that at least it's a case of "Better Late than Never!"
And this time, I'm determined to make it work.
I have so much brain processing power now that I got back to making my very first Android app that I stopped working on the exact same day that I started playing the "game" again.
Thank God and all his infinite wisdom for making me realise that DotA is like a CPU-hogging application that just drives my brain into endless loops of immaterial games, hour after hour, day after day.
Yesterday, I read other posts on people who decided to quit and their good-bye posts. So many of the following replies had one common element in them:
"No one quits DotA for ever, they always relapse."
The biggest testament to that statement is me. I realised that some very wise people have deduced that ominous conclusion.
Well, it also provoked the challenge mode in me. If they say I can't do it, then it's up to me and my God to prove the naysayers wrong.
